Subject

Urgent: Coverage May Lapse — Policy policy_number

Hi client_first_name,

I'm reaching out because your policy has an outstanding balance, and I want to make sure you're aware before coverage is interrupted. This isn't a form letter — I'm sending this personally because I don't want to see you caught without protection.

ACCOUNT STATUS

• Policy Number: policy_number

• Amount Past Due: $past_due_amount

• Payment Required By: payment_deadline

WHAT HAPPENS IF COVERAGE LAPSES

If payment is not received by payment_deadline, your policy will be cancelled for non-payment. A lapse in coverage means:

• You will have no protection against losses during the lapse period

• If you have a mortgage, your lender may be notified and may place force-placed insurance on your property at a significantly higher cost

• Reinstating coverage after a lapse may result in higher premiums or a lapse-related surcharge

HOW TO AVOID A LAPSE

Please make your payment as soon as possible — online, by phone, or by mail as outlined in your policy documents. If you are facing financial hardship and cannot make the full payment by the deadline, please contact me immediately. In some cases there may be options available, but we need to discuss them before the cancellation date.

I strongly encourage you to act before payment_deadline. Please call me at me::phone or reply to this email — I want to help resolve this quickly.
